The sky is a navy knit
each strand into the ebony night
she darts from linen cupboards and echoes shadows
enveloped in strawberry milk clouds
droplets that seed and swell amidst her ribs
strange particles in my teeth, morsels of mean
stones sank straight to her navel
maroong lakas at kagandahan
murmur real affection into my bones
